Dental implant procedures essentially consist of the placement of very small titanium implants into the patients' jawbone, creating a stable ‘root' for securing a natural, tooth-colored dental crown. Titanium is used exclusively due to its' innate compatibility with human body tissues. Implants are available as ‘conventional' or ‘mini'—also known as ‘same day'—and examination of your tooth loss, gum condition, and jawbone stability and density determines which implant is best for you.

Conventional dental implants are surgically placed into the jawbone and produce a completely natural-looking tooth replacement. The titanium implant is custom fit to each individual and precisely placed to ensure the most intrinsic look possible. Mini implants, also known as ‘same day' implants, can be accomplished in a much shorter time than Conventional implants and are a non-surgical, minimally invasive technique. The process utilizes tiny titanium implants, which are placed into the jawbone, and capped with either a dental crown, or your dentures—which are fitted with special metal housings that snuggly snap onto each implant top.

Additional implant options include the Fin and Blade, which address the issues of a condition known as ‘thin jaw ridge' (Fin implant) and the need for crowns or bridges placed in the back of the mouth (Blade implant).
